Karl Godden

Karl is passionate about advocating for good health and believes that true healing comes from achieving balance in both body and lifestyle. With a Masters in Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University, Karl has a deep understanding of the many   factors contributing to musculoskeletal pain. He views pain as both a teacher and   motivator, helping individuals uncover the root cause of their discomfort and empowering them to make informed, healthy choices.
Karl’s approach to osteopathy is grounded in his own experiences of staying active and
healthy. As a dedicated practitioner of yoga, rock climbing, and cycling, he is committed   to maintaining his own well-being through movement—hoping to carry this passion   for outdoor adventure well into old age. He draws on these activities to inform his   treatment, helping his patients reconnect with their bodies and unlock their full potential for   healing. Before becoming an osteopath, Karl worked as both a paramedic and a teacher, where   he witnessed a wide range of lifestyles, injuries, and chronic conditions.

This diverse background has shaped his understanding of how stress, tension, and injury manifest in the body. He takes a holistic approach to osteopathic treatment, combining manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and dry needling to achieve optimal results. Karl finds that dry needling can be an effective tool to release muscle tension and alleviate pain, offering a
targeted treatment option for patients.
For Karl, osteopathy is more than just strength training—it’s about fostering healthy choices that positively impact all areas of life. He tailors osteopathic treatments and exercise
programs to meet each individual’s specific needs, helping them achieve their goals and move toward long-lasting well-being.
