Pilates is a form of exercise which aims to strengthen the deep stabilising muscles of the body which support the pelvis and spine – making it a great tool for rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Form and technique are of utmost importance when performing pilates, to ensure it is both safe and effective for your particular needs. Just like anything, routine is important and it is essential that you are practicing at home to gain the best results.
All exercises are mat-based, incorporating foam rollers, pilates rings and blocks with no reformers or machines.
