The great debacle. The big confusion. The golden question.
I am so often asked by people which therapy is better, ice or heat? They both have their own theories, but is one really better than the other? And when should we use them?
Hopefully this can simplify things a little!

WHAT IS “POOR POSTURE”?
While some recent studies have questioned whether posture really matters, I will say from an
osteopathic perspective- yes, it does! Posture doesn’t cause pain but the effects of poor posture,
especially over a long period of time, can.
Laughter has been shown to have positive physiologic effects that range from supporting the immune system to enhancing the quality of breast milk.
The studies that have been done show that laughter’s immune enhancing effects include lowering the level of cortisol in the blood, increasing the number of activated T lymphocytes (which fight infected and malignant cells), and supporting the quality and quantity of natural killer cells.
Being cashed up might not be such a good thing after all! Well that is if you keep your wallet in your back pocket and sit on it regularly.
